Privacy Policy

This is a starting-point template. It is not legal advice. If you serve customers in California (CCPA/CPRA), the EU/UK (GDPR), or you process payment data directly, have an attorney review before launch.

1. Who we are

Raven Source Holdings, LLC operates this website and provides website design, hosting, and maintenance services. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Raven Source Holdings, LLC.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to inquiries, deliver services, and operate the business.

Quote form submissions: name, business name, phone, email, trade, city/state, current site URL, and any free-text message you provide.
Customers: billing name, email, business name, phone, and tax ID (where required) — collected by Stripe at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.
Site usage: we do not run analytics or third-party tracking on this site by default. Your browser may send standard request logs to our hosting provider (IP, user-agent, page requested, timestamp), retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Email: any messages you send us, retained in our inbox.

3. How we use it

To answer your quote request and prepare a proposal.
To deliver the website build and ongoing Site Care service.
To send transactional emails: invoices, build updates, monthly performance reports, billing notices.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models.

4. Who we share it with

We use the following service providers, each of which receives only what they need to do their job:

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and stores card and billing details under its own privacy policy.
Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery. Receives standard request logs to serve your site.
Email provider (e.g., Gmail / Google Workspace) — to send and receive correspondence.

We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law (e.g., a valid subpoena) or to protect our legal rights.

5. Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies. The Stripe checkout, when you click through, may set its own cookies under Stripe's policy.

6. Data retention

Quote requests we don't follow up on are deleted within 12 months.
Active customer records are retained for the life of the engagement plus 7 years (for tax and accounting).
Hosting access logs are kept up to 30 days.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Show you what personal information we hold about you.
Correct anything that's wrong.
Delete your information, except where we're required to keep it (e.g., paid invoices for tax records).
Stop sending you marketing email (we don't currently send any, but the right is yours).

Email hello@ravensource.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use SSL on this site and on every site we build. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe. We use access controls on our internal tools and storage. No system is bulletproof; if we ever experience a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of confirming it.

9. Children

This service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects any change. Material changes affecting existing customers will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
